Render Blocking

We have optimized CookieTractor to have minimal impact on your website’s loading time. The script is usually under 20 kB and is always delivered via a fast CDN. The script is render-blocking so CookieTractor can run early enough to handle consent-dependent content, such as embedded videos from YouTube och Vimeo. 

If your website has implemented our script directly in the HTML and does not need to handle YouTube or Vimeo, you can include our script tag with the defer or async attribute. This will make our script non-render-blocking, which can improve performance. However, this approach requires some care to ensure cookies are handled correctly on your website.
